On 7th November, the Dewan VS Group of Institutions (DVSGI) organized a special program to commemorate the 150th anniversary of “Vande Mataram.” The event celebrated the spirit of nationalism, unity, and cultural pride embodied in this timeless song.
The program was anchored by Ms. Akriti Srivastava, Coordinator, B.Com Department, while Ms. Mandakini Kapoor, Assistant Professor, Law Department, shared her inspiring thoughts on the historical and patriotic significance of Vande Mataram.
The event was held under the guidance of Mr. Vivek Dewan, Chairman; Dr. Shruti Arora, Group Advisor; and Col. (Dr.) Naresh Goyal, Executive Director.
The program was graced by the presence of Registrar, along with all Department Directors, HODs, faculty members, and students, whose enthusiastic participation made the celebration truly memorable.
The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr. Munendra Kumar, expressing heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their presence and support.
The event concluded with the soulful rendition of “Vande Mataram,” filling the hall with deep emotion, reverence, and pride for the motherland.
